so long, london

okay, so we really said so long to london a few months ago, but we just got the film developed and taylor swift is releasing the tortured poets department this month, so it feels relevant.

logan and i honeymooned last november for two weeks in paris and london, and let me tell you - europe is definitely our vibe. you can see some of my favorite film photos in this blog (and some of my favorite film photos from paris next week)! logan upgraded my refillable disposable film camera to the fujifilm klasse w right before our trip and i am so happy with how the photos turned out. it was definitely a learning experience for me and i am so excited to keep shooting film. (one of my london must-dos was high tea and we got some of my favorite photos there! i included several of them on this post.)

initially, we thought we’d spend the second part of our trip visiting greece, but we have a friend (shoutout matty) in london and decided we wanted to visit him there instead. luckily, our local tour guide did not disappoint! we spent a day going to the nottinghill market (which we watched before our trip, so we could get it when we saw the blue door). there were so many good vendors set up and i was excited to find a few fun, vintage trinkets! it was such a huge market and there was truly so much stuff. we spent our afternoon at the queens park rangers footie match (because we just binged ted lasso and had to experience one for ourselves - and the locals were honestly so much like the show). we went to a local pub and as people who don’t particularly identify with sports, we had the best time. (matty also made sure we ate pies at the game!)

among our other london favorites with matty, we got to go see agatha christie’s witness for the prosecution and eat out at flat iron. we saw big ben, the london eye, and the southbank centre christmas market. it was so special being able to explore the home of our friend! meeting his friends and experiencing the areas he frequents with him was so cool. we definitely have more photos and adventures to share, but getting to relive bits and pieces with the time capsule of film was so much fun.
